Joheskiller's customization packs
These are the game customization packs that I made, composed with contents created by me or downloaded from GameBanana. Those packs are created for me because I like to « upgrade » and customize my games, but my friends wanted to try them too and quickly other people.
I only wanted optimized and correctly made packs, this is why I made mines. For example, there is absolutly no need to have 8k textures on a game of 2005 with 512px environments textures, this is completely inconsistent and break uniformity. This is also the reason that I made this page for everyone who want to try and use my game-packs.
Feel free to ask me minors modifications for you, but I’m not making others unique packs.
Files are hosted on my own server, downloads are straight direct, no ads, no third party provider or hoster for my packs.
Remember that some servers owners can enforce their content, preventing you, as player to choose with what and how you want to play. This cannot be avoided, otherwise that playing somewhere else. They can also choose to force you download and use their content, which in most cases, is far worse.
Modern pure HD HUD by Joheskiller
Forget the old yellow themed with this pack that change the HUD colors and icons to looks more accurate and modern with flat white and gray tones. Also change the game-menu background with Snowy-Park level.

Updated weapons, Sounds & more
My biggest pack that update most of the weapons of the game with more detailed ones while not changing the original weapons. It also update their sounds, as well as players and spray sounds.
You also have much better objective icons and player team icons above the head of teammates. Scopes have also more accurate textures.
Also, for the ones of you that follow me and know me, as eternal fan of Medal of Honor Allied Assault, I replaced similar taunts of DOD:S by ones of MoH:AA. Feel free to ask if you don’t want them.
Playermodels U.S. 501st
A pack that change the players models of Allied only by higher detailed ones, suitted for all battlefields and maps.

PLAYERMODELS PANZER-SCHÜTZE
A pack that change the players models of Axis only, for german panzer schütze. Suitted for most of the maps, but better for fights in foliages.

REAL VIEW OVERVIEWS
Pack changing the overview (the radar, the map at the top right corner) of Avalanche, Donner and Anzio with realistic top views instead of war plans to brings much more readability while playing, knowing and positioning friends and enemies faster.

Improved visual for various props
This update every models of crates, Axis and U.S. variants, drums, the dry and snowy sandbags and some variants of the Axis and Allied tanks (Tiger tank, default Sherman + detroyed).

Valve texture fix
Just a really tiny fix of an issue that bothered me a lot, the alpha channel of the most used roof texture of the game.

How to install
Simply extract the « .rar » file then place the « .vpk » file in the custom folder of your game.
Default path is: \Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\custom\
Fichiers .RAR compressés (WinRar/WinZip). Extraire les fichiers « .RAR » dans le dossier custom du jeu.
Chemin par-defaut: \Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\custom\
